What is the EOS?

EOS is an alternative to Ethereum, created by Dan Larimer, who is also the creator of Steem and Bitshares. EOS promises a faster system and better scalability than the Ethereum, which would allow users to create decentralized applications more efficiently.

EOS is designed to support distributed applications that have the same look and feel as their centralized equivalent, for example without the user having to pay for each transaction.
This allows new blockchain users to engage without having to navigate the complex process of acquiring cryptocurrency and this should help develop the sector.

It also means that any type of application can be built, run and managed by the EOS operating system, creating a new level of transparency.

EOS is designed for large scale development for large enterprises, currently not considered by existing blockchain platforms.
